The time when everything was the same
Nowhere was different
Everything was plane
I saw a shadow there
And wondered
What it meant
What had I seen
Where had it been
In open oceans I did cry
I left my eyes open
To see
The light
That was everywhere
Around me
It took me by surprise
I’d never felt before
I looked around
I heard a sound
My heart was found
To be
A giving force
Tremendous
Weight was placed on me
Heaven bought me gold and stars
Believed in what I knew
I laid between the nightly hours
And prayed my prayers to you
A holy vow
Was placed on me
Never to be forgotten
I followed through
In speculation
My mind was won anew
Perhaps “The Lotus
Was all I ever needed
But place on me
A lonely heart
For only hearts are heeded
